In one of my classes at the Haas Business School, I thought it was going to be a relatively easy course, but to my surprise, the difficulty was much more than I thought. Many students rush to write notes written by the teacher on the chalkboard.. You definitely need to concentrate in class.
The coursework and interaction here differ greatly from China. It is still a bit novel and somewhat difficult to adapt. A large part of the assignment and discussion of the assignments was made on the network system. The teacher's office time can play a large role for students looking to receive help. You can discuss many academic and professional development issues with the teacher.
I also had to learn to cook some food to adapt to the rhythm here. Coming to the University of California, Berkeley, I am always learning and progressing.
