IES Abroad has been named the Overall Best Study Abroad Provider of 2019 for Go Overseas, and one of GoAbroad.com’s Top-Rated Organizations for 2019 – they only provider to be honored for the top award on both lists - based on thousands of student reviews.
These are awards recognize study abroad programs for their rigorous academics and culturally immersive programs. The awards are determined by student reviews, which says a lot about the value students place on their experiences overseas with IES Abroad.
This is the second year in a row that IES Abroad won the Go Overseas Overall Best Study Abroad Provider award, and the third time they have been recognized by GoAbroad.com as a top-rated study abroad organization.

To choose the Overall Best Study Abroad Provider for their Community Choice Awards, Go Overseas looked at every program review posted on their site between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019. To determine the winner, they averaged the student rankings that each study abroad provider received across their programs in five categories: academics, support, fun, housing, and safety.
IES Abroad was a top performer in each category with the most positive reviews on the website. IES Abroad’s top priority is their students, which is why they provide students with top quality programs delivered by faculty, and staff who ensure that their students have the best study abroad experience.

The selection process for the GoAbroad.com Top Rated Organization award is based on both quantity of reviews collected and overall ratings, as well as other measures of quality and participant satisfaction. All reviews counted were published in the 2019 calendar year. IES Abroad had some of the most positive student reviews across their programs on the GoAbroad.com website.
