Courses

Academics
This two-week program combines product development theory with practical business modeling on two tracks: 1. Developing a New Product and 2. Creating a Market-Tested Business Model. On both tracks, morning sessions explore theoretical frameworks while afternoons apply concepts to real-world scenarios, covering everything from concept generation to product launch strategies, culminating in a Capstone Project.

Capstone Project
You work in a group to develop and present a comprehensive new product proposal that demonstrates both technical development skills and market-testing strategies you learned in the program.

Workshops, Site Visits & Guest Lectures
During Track 2, you hear from startup founders facing real-world challenges and visit successful local technology companies, including Apple Sciences and Procore Technologies.

Cultural Activities
Explore the city between the mountains and the ocean—the American Riviera—with its Spanish Colonial vibes. You might take a tour of the city’s iconic landmarks or join an adventurous whale watching expedition.
