Academics

University of Arkansas' Academic Approach

U of A is known for its strong academic programs in business, economics, and engineering. Previous scholars have expressed high satisfaction with their courses, mainly due to Arkansas’ commitment to providing real-world skills to their scholars.

Another significant strength of the University of Arkansas is the attentive and personal faculty and staff. The university strives to keep a low student to faculty ratio, which facilitates the learning and mentoring process.

Courses

You can register for your courses online. Before you arrive on campus, you work directly with the Arkansas International Office to complete your registration.

It is common for a hold to appear on your student account before you arrive, so you should communicate your preferred courses to Arkansas as early as possible, so the international office can work to remove holds or reserve seats in courses.

Many students have completed the registration process after their arrival to campus, so there’s no need to worry if you can’t complete your course registration immediately.
