University of Oregon offers unique course term lengths and a summer program. As an English language student, you have every facility you need in one location. This allows you to make a home away from home as you study and learn alongside the other students and professors.
Your program has seven levels, from ePrep (true beginner) to Level 6, designed for students interested in general English and academic English preparation. If you’re a new student, you take the 3-part ACCUPLACER test to determine your level.

In your first 2 days of class, instructors check your proficiency and may move you up or down to give you the best experience. You may also be eligible to take electives in grammar, phonics and pronunciation, academic writing, and reading fluency. Language Test Score Requirements
There are no requirements to join this program. A language test when you arrive determines your skill level. No prior test is necessary to participate.
When studying abroad, you will want to consider the time of year and how long you are away. Most programs follow the host university's academic calendar.
