University of Oxford

This timeless, iconic university is the beating heart of the vibrant city of Oxford. Just 60 miles from London, Oxford is very much a student city with more than 30 student colleges creating a warm and welcoming environment to call home. You can study at one of two colleges.

St. Anne’s College dates back to 1879 and became a full college of the University of Oxford in 1952. Originally established as a place for women with the talent and determination to study at Oxford, the college now has a body of 800 students, both male and female. Gifted individuals who have studied or taught here include 28 British prime ministers, 55 Nobel Prize winners, and 120 Olympic medal winners.

Also founded in 1879, Lady Margaret Hall started with just nine women and, in 2016, was the first Oxford College to welcome under-represented students to take on a foundation year. With its defining pioneer spirit, it has a welcoming, warm, academically rich community that leads where others follow.
