A Self-Guided Walking Path of Campus
The "Hanyang Doollehgil" path, which spans 2.6 kilometers\1.62 miles, is a nice tour and walking path of the university. As it meanders through the Hanyang campus, the route offers a tranquil setting for walkers. Students and visitors can get a closer look at the school from eight vantage points along this trail:
The Lion - The Doolehgil path starts outside the main building, where the lion is said to inspire and shape the aspirations of the next generation. This statue is right outside the Hanyang University train stop, surrounded by the New Administration building, the College of International Studies, and Hanyang Plaza.
Memorial Stone's Reflection - Hanyang's humanistic attitude is symbolized by the poet Mok-wol's memorial stone halfway up the College of Humanities staircase. Walking 158 steps lets you contemplate literature, philosophy, and history. It makes one wonder about life's meaning and purpose and whether and how they exist.
Namsan's Twilight - This is among the most picturesque spots along the path, thanks to when sunset light peeps just beyond Namsan to make a breathtaking sight. Wangsimni depicts a youthful setting characterized by friendships and passion. From this stop to the left is the Student Union, while the College of Medicine is to the right.
The Night Lights at the Riverside - This vista is situated on the walkway that connects the College of Social Sciences to the College of Humanities. You can see the Han River in all its pristine glory as you look down.
War Horse's Tracks - This spot is set at the Paiknam Library and in Hanyang University's core, surrounded by many other campus buildings. Once used for training army horses, today's Hanyang students fervently walk the fields, disciplining their minds and spirits through meditation and study.
