There are plenty of great activities to take a part in outside of academics while you study abroad at UCLA. Not sure where to start? Take a look at this list below for some of our favorite spots!
1. First things first, take a stroll through Bruin Walk. It's the main pedestrian thoroughfare on campus and it's always buzzing with activity. You'll see street performers, students hanging out with friends, and a variety of food trucks.
2. If you're into sports, catch a UCLA Bruins game at Pauley Pavilion. Basketball and volleyball games are especially fun to watch.
3. If you're not into sports, you can always check out the Hammer Museum. It's a great place to check out contemporary art exhibits and it's free for UCLA students.
4. If you're looking for a place to study, the Young Research Library is a great option. It's one of the biggest libraries on campus and it's open 24/7 during the quarter. Plus, the view from the top floor is absolutely stunning.
5. If you're looking for a fun night out, Westwood Village is the place to be. It's a great spot for dinner, drinks, and movies. You'll find a variety of restaurants and bars, as well as the famous Bruin Theater.
6. Last but not least, take a hike at the nearby Griffith Observatory and Griffith Park. It's a great way to get some fresh air and enjoy the beautiful views of Los Angeles.
