About the Program

This is your opportunity to live and learn alongside students from France and around the world by directly enrolling at SKEMA (School of Knowledge Economy and Management) Business School. SKEMA, which has AACSB and EQUIS accreditation, is consistently ranked as one of the best European business schools by the Financial Times annual ranking. Known as a global business and research school, SKEMA follows three knowledge economy themes: internationalization, sustainable performance, and entrepreneurship and innovation. On SKEMA’s business campus located in the heart of Sophia Antipolis, you will enroll in a wide variety of English-taught courses.

Nice’s IES Abroad Center makes the most of its French Riviera location and year-round sunshine, turning this beautiful stretch of coastline into your cultural classroom. SKEMA Business School

Located in Sophia Antipolis,  SKEMA Business School is a highly selective global business and research school for students interested in entrepreneurship and innovation or business programs. SKEMA is comprised of three knowledge economy themes: internationalization, sustainable performance, and entrepreneurship and innovation. 

With high Financial Times rankings (6th in MSc Financial Markets & Investments and 25th in Master of Management worldwide) and AACSB and EQUIS accreditation, SKEMA Business School gives international students the tools they need to be competitive in the global market. 

SKEMA’s Business Bachelor of Arts (BBA) program is an international four-year degree program within the SKEMA business school. This campus is one of SKEMA’s six campuses worldwide, including France, China, Brazil, and the United States

Courses

You take 15-19 credits per semester. Classes range from 1-4 credits, with most courses being 3 credits each. 

The following courses are taught at the IES Abroad center in Nice, by esteemed IES Abroad faculty.

Application Requirements

When applying to study abroad, you must meet the entry requirements of the program—and SAF is here to set you up for success.

The requirements outlined in this section include the language proficiency scores you may need to demonstrate your language skills, a guide to the GPA range and other academic prerequisites required by the program, and a list of documentation and other application materials you will need to finalize your application. You will need to supply additional information throughout the process, and our helpful team will alert you via email or your MyIESAbroad Student Portal whenever this is necessary.

Apartment

Apartments are available throughout the city. The fully equipped apartments house other IES Abroad students. Washing machines are available in or near the building. No meals are provided.

IES Program Nice 10

Mediterranean food, warm sunshine, and plenty of festivities, Nice’s IES Abroad Center takes full advantage of its Côte d’Azur location. From your classroom, you’re close to the old town of Vieux Nice and the Promenade des Anglais and its famous sunset walks. Explore the nearby medieval village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, taste cheese and olives in Marseille, and spot eagles soaring over the incredible turquoise waters of the Gorges du Verdon for a once-in-a-lifetime study experience.

Explore the French Riviera between Nice and the Italian border, including forts, perched villages, and seaside resort towns.
