Program Advisor
Your Student Counselor is your study abroad ambassador and supporter. They join your application journey when you’ve confirmed you’re interested in studying abroad. At this point, they guide you through each stage of the application, notify you of the documents you need, let you know when your admission results are in, and walk you through the next steps, including class enrollment and organizing pre-arrival tests.

At its state-of-the-art facilities in London’s most creative communities, you learn to push your creative boundaries and develop your unique artistic voice.
Courses
Course restrictions
You will be part of a study abroad cohort in your Central Saint Martins Advanced Fashion Design Semester, joining other international students to innovate and develop your fashion design skills. You may have a chance to take additional classes with degree-seeking students.
Class hours
Over 13 weeks, you enjoy between 120 and 160 hours of face-to-face tuition from practicing fashion designers in specialist facilities. You also complete the same number of hours studying, experimenting, and furthering your understanding of fashion design beyond the classroom, in local museums, galleries, and exhibits—many of which are globally significant institutions.
Core and elective courses
You take three core UAL Study Abroad Semester modules worth two credits each:
• Understanding Contemporary Cultures
• London Cultural Studies
• Creative Histories
The fashion element of your course is in three modules:
• Advanced Fashion Design
• Advanced Fashion On/Off the Body
• Visual Identity and Communication
You also have the option to take additional electives, which vary by semester, for up to 16 credits.

Application Requirements
The requirements outlined in this section include the language proficiency scores you may need to demonstrate your language skills, a guide to the GPA range and other academic prerequisites required by your host university, and a list of documentation and other application materials you will need to finalize your application. You may need to supply additional information throughout the process, and you will be alerted through your emails and SAF Student Portal if this is the case for you.

Housing Information
On-campus dormitory
Your UAL home is a fully furnished ensuite single room in university accommodation, with everything you need for a comfortable semester—bed, desk, and wardrobe as well as a shared kitchen and laundry.
Beyond your private space, you have access to studio workshops, an art gallery, and peaceful courtyards.
For more luxury, when accepting your offer to UAL, you can upgrade to a premium studio with your own kitchen or a room in the sought-after Glassyard Building.
