Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NUST) is a top tier university in China. Located in the capital city of Jiangsu Province, this multi-disciplinary university offers nationally recognized programs in science, engineering, and economics, to name but a few. It is a Project 211, 985 and Double First Class University.

Nankai University is a public research university located in Tianjin, China. It is a Chinese Ministry of Education Class A Double First Class University. It was founded in 1919, by educators Yan Xiu and Zhang Boling.Nankai University, Peking University and Tsinghua University merged and formed the National Changsha Provisional University, which later moved to Kunming and was renamed the National Southwestern Associated University.

Catholic-oriented Nanzan University was originally a small foreign-language school established by Society of the Divine Word missionaries. The university is now a conglomerate of educational establishments with eight faculties, one junior college, and thirteen research centers and institutes, and it has a worldwide reputation for academic excellence. As part of its “For human dignity” mission, the university requires undergraduate students to study Christian thought, giving them an opportunity to explore Western cultures and better understand Japan’s role on the world stage. Nara Women's University is a national women's university located in Nara, Japan. It is one of two of Japan’s national women's universities. The University was established in 1908 with the goal of training women, and later reorganized and renamed in 1949.

North China Electric Power University is a national "Project 211" key university based in Beijing, China under the national Ministry of Education that specialises in polytechnic disciplines. The main campus is located in Beijing, and it has a branch campus in Baoding, Hebei Province.  It is a Chinese Ministry of Education Double First Class Discipline University, with Double First Class status in certain disciplines.

Northeast Normal University is one of the six national normal universities in the People's Republic of China, located in Changchun, Jilin province. The university was listed as a "project 211" university. It is a Chinese Ministry of Education Double First Class Discipline University, with Double First Class status in certain disciplines.
