Established as a teacher-training college, Kongju National University continues its tradition of producing middle- and high-school teachers - and KNU's College of Education consistently has the most students passing the Teacher Certification Examinations, nationally. A university of three sites, KNU's TRI-CAMPUS offers science, education, and industry-focused undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and it runs an international studies program, taught in English, that focuses on economics, business, math, and statistics. Korea Aerospace University is a private university located in Hwajeon-dong, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. As an educational institution was needed to pioneer the civil aviation field during the Korean War, it started as a special aviation department of a transportation high school under the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Korea in 1952, and was reorganized as Korea Aerospace University in 1968. Kunming University of Science and Technology (KUST) is a university in Kunming, the capital city in the southwestern province of Yunnan.
