Korea Aerospace University is a private university located in Hwajeon-dong, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. As an educational institution was needed to pioneer the civil aviation field during the Korean War, it started as a special aviation department of a transportation high school under the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Korea in 1952, and was reorganized as Korea Aerospace University in 1968.
