Sogang University is both one of Korea's leading research and liberal-arts universities and, despite its size, has been deeply influential in designing the nation's economic development program. Soochow University was one of the first universities listed in the national Project 211 and Plan 2011. SWU is one of six universities approved by Small and Medium Business Administration (SBA) to provide high-quality business education. Rooted in the Christian faith, Soongsil University was the first modern university in Korea. From its beginnings as a high school in 1897 to its first steps into tertiary education in 1907 and eventual inauguration as the Soongsil University of today, its goal has been to nurture talent and create well-respected leaders.

South China University of Technology is a major public research university in China. It is located in the Tianhe District and Panyu District of Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong Province, China. It is a multidisciplinary university focusing on engineering, combined with science, also promoting well coordinated development of management, economics, humanities and law. It is a Chinese Ministry of Education Class A Double First Class Discipline University.

Southeast University is a public research university located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China. It was part of one of the oldest universities and the first coeducational university in China.  It is a member of both "Project 985" and "Project 211", and sponsored by the Ministry of Education of China aiming to become a well-known world-class university. It is a Chinese Ministry of Education Class A Double First Class University.
